Mostly (if not only) men are mentioned in family trees and women are delegated to secondary roles like making babies. What is that supposed to teach us?
It teaches nothing more that woman are second class citizens and the Bible should be condemned for that.

I invite you to come to the forum and create a list of names of women who have somewhat of a role and dialogue in the Old Testament. Women named in passing don't count. Let's start with Eve, Sarah (Abraham's wife) and Delilah (Samson's betrayer). These women can be the benchmark for our definition of "somewhat of a role and dialogue".
